


“Brave” immediately shot to the top of my list of favorite Hymns of Social Justice. I asked her how it went and she said that the theme for this year’s camp was going to be a song called “Brave.” I was curious so I looked the song up and watched the official music video on Youtube. My daughter had just come home from a meeting at our Church where she was helping to plan the annual summer young women’s camp out. SO I had never heard of Sara Bareilles or her song “Brave” until a few weeks ago. Most of what I listen to was recorded from the mid 1960’s to the mid to early 1990’s. He gives us the strength and courage to stand up and face each day.I admit, I’m old, and my music tastes generally align with my age.
